There are many ways to share in God's gifts at the Neighborhood Church. One is by giving generously and cheerfully.
Annual stewardship campaigns help fund the Church's operating budget and ongoing maintenance. They are how we pay salaries, bills, and other expenses. Each Fall, pledge cards and stewardship materials are mailed to members and friends.
Contributing via pledge allows the Church to make more informed financial, administrative and staffing decisions throughout the year. Each year, the Budget Committee reassess our operating costs and procedures and works with the Stewardship Committee to create a budget and pledge goals.
Stewardship campaigns are the backbone of our Annual Budget. They provide funds for everything from landscape maintenance to replacing lightbulbs and caring for our historic property. The Annual Budget is presented to the congregation for review each year at the Annual Business Meeting in January.
Pledge cards and offering envelopes may be requested at any time by contacting our Business Office.

Those wishing to make special gifts or bequests to enhance the Church property are welcome to do so by contributing to one of our Angel Projects. These special projects have been identified by the Board of Trustees as significant renovation or beautification projects whose cost exceeds the regular maintenance and operating budget. Past projects have included the restoration of damaged stenciling in the Foyer, original to the 1929 Haggarty Estate, and the refinishing of the worn sign and damaged metal window frames of the Church Office.
Donors are welcome to sponsor all or part of an Angel Project. All donors will be recognized in Church publications. Gifts over $15,000 will be recognized on the bronze plaque in the Narthex. For a list of proposed projects and estimates, please contact The Church Office.
Our Endowment Fund seeks to provide financial security and stability for our Church, both now and in the future. The Fund is overseen by our Endowment Committee in accordance with church bylaws and managed by Wells Fargo Investment Management. The Fund is comprised of planned gifts and bequests including cash, securities, real property, bequests via a will or trust amongst other contributions.
