The Story (and Fireplace) Behind our Organ

Our resident storyteller and centenarian, Ruberta Weaver, tells the behind the pipes story of how our magnificent Glatter-Götz organ came to our little Church on the coast. Generously donated by Sandy Barnett in honor of her husband Barney Barnett, our organ is much more than just an instrument. Read the full story and see photos from the installation process on our blog.

Organ Concert featuring Adam J. Brakel and Potluck Dinner

Each year we host a touring concert organist for a special recital on our Organ. This year we are excited to welcome Adam J. Brakel, who has been hailed as “an absolute organ prodigy” by National Public Radio and played from coast to coast in the United States, and in concert tours in England, Germany, and Hong Kong. Be sure to join us after the recital for a potluck dinner in the Fellowship Hall! Tickets are on sale now or can be purchased at the door.
