Summer Sunday Sounds is back! This Summer favorite has been a Neighborhood Church staple for many years. This free concert series is perfect for the summer and features local musicians on our seaside patio. Join us for a BYO Picnic at 6PM and Concert at 7PM.
Kent Jenkins (Snubby J) is a Los Angeles-based musician, creator and entertainer known for his performances with the RimbaTubes, a homemade PVC Pipe instrument built with his father in 2007. What started as a hobby of making YouTube music videos, has since garnered Kent over 400,000 followers and 200 million video views worldwide. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University (Theatre Arts ’14), Kent has performed internationally on numerous television shows including ABC’s revival of The Gong Show, Das Supertalent (in Germany) and even TEDx Talks online. Through his uniquely high-energy performances, Kent aims to create work that will spread light into other people’s lives in a fun and meaningful way. Join us for an evening of wide-ranging musical entertainment from fun originals, classic oldies, and name-that-tune pop songs with audience connection and participation at the core.
No tickets or reservations are required— just pack a picnic, grab a few friends, come on down and enjoy the show! Seating is provided. The concerts are free and a freewill offering will be collected.
