February 18th is Ash Wednesday and the traditional start of the Season of Lent. Lent is a period of 40 days (minus Sundays) that believers have traditionally used as a time of reflection, prayer, and adopting new spiritual practices. It is a time to focus and prepare as we journey with Jesus to the cross and the miracle of resurrection.
